Kentucky cruised to their seventh consecutive win to begin the season, crushing UNC-Asheville 94-57 Monday night at Freedom Hall in Louisville.
Four Cats scored in double figures, including Demarcus Cousins, who led all scorers with 24 points.
John Wall narrowly missed the UK single-game assist record with 14 helpers to go with 12 points.
Travis Ford holds the record with 15 assists against Eastern Kentucky in 1993.
As a team UK dished out 27 assists and only committed nine turnovers.
Kentucky dominated UNC-Asheville in the paint, out-rebounding the Bulldogs 38-26.
Patrick Patterson - 17 points, 9 rebounds - and Cousins combined to shoot 16 for 26 from the field.
The Cats scored the first eight points of the game to take immediate control and were ahead 45-23 at halftime.
DeAndre Liggins was the only player on the Kentucky roster not to get in to the game and nine players scored.
