DANVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Centre College has been named one of the best colleges in the nation to work for.

The Chronicle of Higher Education gave the private liberal arts college in Danville the distinction this week.

A news release from Centre says the school was recognized among small institutions with 2,999 or fewer students.

The school said it won honors in job satisfaction; tenure clarity and process; collaborative governance; teaching environment; facilities, workspaces and security; and respect and appreciation.
