Prosecutors have dropped a charge against a Kentucky State University quarterback accused of groping a woman last fall.

A housekeeper at a Chicago motel claimed Martez James inappropriately touched her back in October. According to the police report James entered a room where the housekeeper was working and rubbed his body against hers.

But the State Journal reports the woman failed to show up in court and the battery charge was dropped.

James also pleaded not guilty to an unrelated animal cruelty charge last October.
