According to a police report, a child in Winchester was taken to the Hospital after a hypodermic needle in her trick-or-treat back scratched her.

Police say the 8-year-old girl was trick-or-treating in a Winchester neighborhood behind the Lowe's store on the bypass around 6 p.m. She had only visited 10 or 15 homes when a needle sticking out of the pillow case she was using to collect candy scratched her leg.

The girl's mother took her to Clark Regional Medical Center to get checked out, and officers took a report there.

Police say they checked all of the homes the victim visited and didn't find any clues.
