Dust off those old fondue pots and get ready for a party! Chocolate fondue is a delicious and fun way to bring in the new year!
Chocolate Fondue
1/2 cup heavy cream
3 bars Toblerone chocolate, 4 ounces each or semi-sweet chocolate bars
1 tablespoon Cognac, rum or milk
Warm the cream in a small saucepan. Break chocolate into pieces, add to the cream and stir until melted. Thin slightly with Cognac, rum or milk. If using Cognac, be careful that it does not ignite. Pour into small fondue pot and place place over a candle warmer.
Dippers: pound cake cubes,pieces of pear or apple, banana slices,cherries,mandarin orange sections,grapes.
