Ingredients
1/4 cup unsalted butter
4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled,cored and slice 1/4" thick
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Directions
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add apples. Sauté, stirring frequently until apples are almost tender, about 6 minutes. Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to skillet. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. Boil for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
