The Cats have won 18 in a row against non-conference opponents at home. The streak goes back to 2005. Overall, it's 21 in a row against non-conference teams.
Should we expect a close game? Four of the last six meetings between UK and U of L have been decided by 7 points or less.
Danny Trevathan and Winston Guy are 1-2 in tackles in the SEC.
If it ends up being a tight game and field position has value, Ryan Tydlacka could be important. He is 10th in the nation in punting at 47.8 yards and he leads the SEC in net punting.
Morgan Newton's record as a starter shouldn't be overlooked. He's 7-4. Morgan spent part of the week working on his short passing game.
Joker is perfect as a head coach when one thing happens. When UK wins the turnover margin, the Cats are 5-0.
There are 16 players on UK's roster from Louisville.
UK is 51-29-5 all time against Big East teams.
In the red-zone, UK has to do a better job. They are 2 for 4. Both times they scored touchdowns.
The defense has been better in the red-zone. No touchdowns given up and they are 3 for 4. They have given up three field goals and no touchdowns.
This has been very overlooked. The Cats defense has not allowed a point in the second half this year.
So far, 10 true freshman have played for the Cats.
We'll be talking about the game on our True Blue Fan Facebook page.
