A new batch of Arctic air has plunged into nation as we prepare for the Christmas holiday. We're at the edge of this and as we go through tonight and tomorrow it will be settling in over Kentucky.
Tonight the sky will clear and temperatures will drop into the middle and upper teens.
Christmas Eve Day will see a lot of sunshine and a very brisk afternoon with highs only in the upper 20's.
For Santa it will be a clear and cold Christmas Eve...just the way he likes it!
