A Connecticut man has pleaded guilty to charges he took a 14-year-old Kentucky girl to another state.

David Hernandez, 51, pleaded guilty to custodial interference. Bell County Sheriff's deputies say on January 2, Hernandez took a 14-year-old girl from Pineville back to his home in Connecticut.

Hernandez says the girl had an online relationship with his teenage son, but the sheriff says he took her without her parents knowledge.

Hernandez will be formally sentenced April 1.
