High pressure across the Ohio Valley will keep the weather tranquil Thursday but a north wind will also keep it cool. Highs will stay below average- in the low to mid 60s but we'll also have plenty of sunshine. After a mostly clear night in the lower 40s with a bit of patchy frost possible in eastern Kentucky we're back to the low to mid 70s Thursday as high pressure heads east and the wind shifts to the southeast. A cold front will blow through Thursday night into Friday morning bringing a decent chance for showers and a few t-storms. After clearing out Friday afternoon & Saturday with highs in the 70s we'll see another chance for showers & storms late in the weekend.
