LEX 18 played a role in a home invasion arrest.

The home invasion happened early Tuesday morning at a house on Backhand Court, just off Redding Road in Lexington. A viewer saw the story, put two and two together and told police that a juvenile was involved in the crime.

Police say they spotted the juvenile off Georgetown Road Tuesday night. When officers approached the suspect to make an arrest, he took off and jumped a fence. Police eventually tased the suspect and took him into custody. Police say the juvenile tossed a gun during the chase, but officers were not able to locate it.
