The Fayette County coroner has released more information about the death of a former Blue Grass airport executive director.
The coroner said they will wait to determine Michael Gobb's cause of death until toxicology results are in.
Gobb was found dead in his home by his employer, Alan Stein, Thursday afternoon after Gobb's mother reached out to Stein because she could not get in touch with her son by phone.
Stein said Gobb was on a leave of absence but was schedule to return to work this week.
In 2009 a state audit of the airport turned up more than half million dollars in questionable spending. As a result, Gobb was sentenced to five years of probation for theft by deception.
