FRANKFORT (AP) - The Kentucky Arts Council is looking for nominations for the 2012 Governor's Awards in the Arts.
The council is accepting nominations until March 1. The awards will be presented at a public ceremony in October.
The awards recognize individuals and organizations with extraordinary achievements and contributions in the arts and cover nine categories. Those categories are artist, business, community arts, education, folk heritage, government, media, milner and national.
