The Anderson County Attorney said a plea agreement could likely be worked out in the Billy Gillispie case by next month.

The former University of Kentucky coach was arrested in August and charged with DUI after someone reported a white Mercedes driving erratically.

At a hearing Monday in Anderson County, the County Attorney told LEX 18 the next court date in the case is set for November 2, and a plea deal will likely be reached by then.

Gillispie is still in a rehab center in Houston that he checked himself into last month. His attorney, William Patrick said Gillispie was going over the details of the plea agreement, and is expected to be next month.

The County Attorney said details of the possible plea agreement are not being released at this point.
