Crews will resume searching for a man missing in the Daniel Boone National Forest Wednesday morning.
Ryan Larke disappeared on Saturday evening while camping in Laurel County with his girlfriend and three other friends. He left the campsite, apparently hoping to get a signal on his cell phone. He never returned.
Rescue Crews have scoured the area, searching for the missing man. They brought in a helicopter and dogs, but have had no success. Friends say that since Larke went missing, his cell phone has gone dead, and calls go straight to voice mail.
Larke's mother came down from Wisconsin. She looked on Tuesday as crews searched for her son. She says he moved to London less than a year ago.
"To start over. There was nothing out there in Wisconsin going, so he came down here to live with his grandmother. Got his own place like a month ago...girlfriend. Everything's doing good," Diane Keller said.
Friends say Larke was wearing a white T-shirt and jeans when he left the campsite.
Laurel County Sheriff's deputies say they don't suspect any foul play.
Larke is about 5-foot-8 and weighs about 150 pounds. If you have any information, you can contact the sheriff's department at 606-864-6600.
