A pilot was killed this morning after his ultralight airplane crashed into power lines.

The accident happened in Pasco County, Florida, north of Tampa.

Officials say the man was flying the small aircraft near the Pilot Country Airport when it started to go down and was tangled in the power lines.

Electricity in the area was knocked out.

No one else was hurt.
