Kentucky State Police continue to investigate after a deaf Breathitt County man was shot and killed in his own home Friday.

It happened at a mobile home on Kentucky 542 around 1:00 Friday afternoon. His family says 46-year old Ralph Spencer lived alone there. They say he was a kind person who would never want to hurt anyone. It was his friend, who was supposed to take him to the grocery store that morning, that found his body in the living room.

"I come down and nobody come out," Jessie Vires said. "Went down to the church. Got his mom I was like will you come over and check and Ralph we all walked up and we just looked turn around and go out."

Police say they're still looking for the person of people who killed Spencer. If you have any information, give state police a call.
