Deer Blamed For Three-Vehicle Crash In Clark County

Officials say a deer caused a three-vehicle accident in Winchester early Wednesday morning.

Firefighters say a car made a sudden stop in the middle of Combs Ferry Road to avoid hitting a deer around 2 a.m. A red pickup truck rear-ended the car. A second pickup traveling in the opposite direction had to swerve and went off the road trying to avoid the deer and the crash. EMS took the driver and a passenger in the red pickup, and the driver of the second truck to the hospital for treatment. Officials did not release any information on their conditions.

The driver of the car was not injured.
