Devon Patton was born in Philadelphia, PA and raised mostly in Willingboro, New Jersey, famous for gold medal Olympic winner Carl Lewis.
Devon graduated from one of the top communications schools in America, Syracuse University, with a degree in Communications. While studying at Syracuse University he was captain of the track and field team. In 1996, Devon qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials, where he found out the Olympic Team "is really fast."
Before coming to Lexington, Devon worked as an anchor / reporter in Omaha, NE, New Bern and Charlotte, NC, as well as Bluefield, WV and Philadelphia. "I'm really happy to be here," Devon says. "People have welcomed me with open arms."
In his spare time Devon enjoys listening to jazz, playing the drums and spending time with his family. Devon and his wife, Laura, have a two-year-old daughter and a daughter, Bree, born in September 2010.
"My family and I are glad to make Lexington our new home."
