Police say a distracted semi driver caused a slowdown along I-64 in Montgomery County Sunday night.

Police say the truck was heading westbound along the interstate near mile marker 104 around 11 p.m. when the driver checked his GPS and lost control of the rig. The semi drove through the median for nearly one-half mile before it finally got stuck in the mud. Police had to shut down one lane for more than an hour while a wrecker pulled the truck free.

Nobody was hurt and traffic is now back to normal in the area.
