KYTC crews have been on duty since 4 a.m. treating routes due to the freezing rain and light snow Friday morning.

Precipitation has ceased in the District 5 area for now. However, with temperatures in the mid-20s Friday re-freezing has been an issue.

Currently, Bullitt, Franklin, Henry and Spencer County crews are still treating routes with salt. Crews in Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby and Trimble Counties are monitoring roadways and will spot treat as necessary.
