Doctor Arrested After Allegedly Stabbing Patient With Sword

A visit to the psychiatrist turns violent for a woman in northern Kentucky when police say the doctor stabbed her with a sword.

The incident happened Sunday in Kenton County. Investigators say Dr. Douglas Rank was found standing over the woman with the sword in his hand. Two men were able to distract the psychiatrist so the victim could get away. 

Rank was detained by neighbors that lived in that building, and  when the officers arrived they were able to take him into custody without incident.

Rank is charged with assault, and is being held on a $50,000 bond. The woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

So far, there is no word on what prompted the incident.

    Just  goes to show you that we can't even trust doctors nowadays..... This world is far beyond crazy anymore
