The driver left the scene of an accident and medics had to carry a passenger to an ambulance after a crash in Fayette County late Thursday night.
Police say the car was traveling along a farm access road along I-64 near the Scott County line when the driver lost control, drove off the road and plowed through a wire fence. The driver left the scene and paramedics had to carry a woman to an ambulance. Police say she was so drunk, she couldn't walk. Officers charged her with alcohol intoxication.
Police brought in a K9 to search the area, but they could not locate the driver.
