Traffic on I-75 southbound was slowed Wednesday afternoon after a dump truck lost control and crashed through a barrier and ended up below an underpass in Madison County.

The accident happened at about 4 p.m. near mile marker 76 in Berea. The dump truck was the only vehicle involved, and so far there is no word of any injuries.

Traffic in the area is moving, but is still backed up. So far, no cause of the accident has been released.
