Ingredients
3 1/2 cups fresh blackberries
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions
In a medium saucepan, bring blackberries, sugar, and water to a simmer stirring occasionally. Cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and strain mixture through a fine sieve. Stir in lemon juice, cover and chill. Makes 1 cup.
