Eight cars were involved in four separate accidents along Man O' War Boulevard near Mt. McKinley Way Tuesday morning.

Police say witnesses told them a small SUV darting in and out of traffic spun out on the wet roadway, causing a chain reaction of crashes around 8 a.m. The SUV then sped off. Three cars went off the roadway. Police say EMS took two people to the hospital for treatment of very minor injuries.

Police say the rainy weather contributed to the accidents.

The outer loop of Man O' War remains closed as crews work to clear the wrecked vehicles.
