After months of campaigning, the results of election 2010 are finally in.
Republican Rand Paul easily won a contentious Kentucky Senate race, getting 56 percent of the vote to Democrat Jack Conway's 44.
But the 6th District Congressional race was much closer. In fact, Republican Andy Barr has yet to concede the race. With all but one precinct reporting, a mere 600 votes separates Barr an incumbent Ben Chandler.
A new Jim will lead Lexington. Jim Gray ousted incumbent Lexington Mayor Jim Newberry 53 to 47 percent.
Nationwide, Republicans made big gains, picking up about 65 seats and a majority in the House. The GOP also gained seven Senate seats.
