Eric Bledsoe became the fourth Wildcat taken in the first round of the NBA draft Thursday night when he was picked by Oklahoma City with the 18th overall pick.
Coach John Calipari was in New York with Wall, Cousins and Patterson, and threw up his hand and gave a shout when Bledsoe was selected.
Then Oklahoma City traded the rights to Bledsoe to the Los Angeles Clippers for a future first round pick.
Bledsoe's stock started rising after doing workouts when teams saw his sheer athletic ability.
Bledsoe averaged 11.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game at Kentucky.
