According to forestry officials, a wildfire in Estill County continued to burn Friday morning, but firefighters have it contained.

The fire started sometime Wednesday night in the area of Sweet Lick Road.

The blaze scorched 50 to 60 acres. Firefighters went door-to-door Thursday near Plum Street in Irvine, letting residents know to keep a look out.
