Rumors. Lots of talk and rumors coming out of every NBA city as we get closer to the draft. Trying to figure out who to believe can drive you crazy.

"Everybody lies," says Calipari.

"No one tells the truth. There are guys like that, I call them Mr. Opposites. Whatever they say it's exactly the opposite. In the draft situation what guys do, if you want a guy you say he stinks, he's hurt, he's bad, he's this, and you snatch him up before someone else gets him."

There are some Cats like Eric Bledsoe, DeMarcus Cousins, and Daniel Orton, where it's tough to get a true handle of where they stand with a lot of NBA teams.

"So, the teams I'm talking to Eric has just, there were workouts where they said he was just one of the best players they had seen. There were other teams who said he will not get by us. There is a lot of good for him. I haven't heard as much for Daniel because he hasn't gone to as many workouts."

But, overall, Cal gives a positive scouting report on his five former Cats who will be drafted on June 24th.

"What I am hearing is, it's all pretty good. It would be neat for us to be the first program to have five first round draft picks. It would be neat. I think Patrick is in the middle of the lottery. I think John and DeMarcus are at the beginning of the lottery and I think that Eric and Daniel are probably toward the back of the lottery in that area of first round. That's what I would hope."

To Tom Izzo. He is trying to decide if he's going to stay at Michigan State where he is one of the most respected coaches around, or take the much bigger bucks and move on the Cleveland in the NBA.

"He and I talked for about 25-30 minutes and I think what he is trying to do is search for information. I think if he chose to go to the Cavaliers he would do a terrific job."

To the question that no one seems to have the answer to. The future of the great LeBron James. Will he stay or go to another city as a free agent.

"The issue becomes with or without LeBron. With LeBron you have a good chance to win a whole lot of games. Without LeBron, what is the plan? How are you going to recover and do it. I think if he chooses to do it he will do a fabulous job because he is a good coach."

Calipari has to be glad that for today, no one is asking him about coaching in the NBA next season.
