Autumn officially begins (none of that unofficial Labor Day stuff or 'meteorological') Saturday morning at 10:49 am. That's when the sun will be directly over the equator and we transition to the cool seasons.
It will be a day with a partly to mostly sunny sky and slightly cooler afternoon topping out in the low 70's. Much colder air will be here for Sunday.
