Family and friends gathered Wednesday to remember a murdered Madison County couple.
Sonsaray Warford and Charles Walker were missing for two years before their bodies were found buried in shallow graves last March. Investigators say they were the victims of a murder-for-hire plot.
A small crowd gathered at a roadside memorial marking the spot their bodies were found. The group prayed, sang and released balloons in their memory.
Warfard's father says the family still seeks justice.
"What has been done to our loved ones was a bad thing and we don't want to let it go unturned- to not be brought forth to justice. They were here for 30 years, and we just thank God for that, but we just wanted to show them that we're still here and we're still here for them."
Police charged Daniel Keene and Matthew Denholm with the murders. Lebruce Ellington also faces charges in the case.
