A suspicious internet deal lands a felon back in jail on gun charges.

Christopher Sowards was arrested after trying to sell a firearm to a deputy over the weekend. The brother of a Rowan County Sheriff's Deputy found the gun on the internet and thought it might be stolen.

A meeting was set up with Sowards where deputies discovered the gun was not stolen, but that Sowards was in possession of a 12-gauge shotgun. He was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm by a felon and taken to the Laurel County Jail.
