It was a beautiful start to the weekend today with sunshine and warmer temperatures back up into the 40s. Take a look at the high temperatures we saw out there today. We made it up to 43 degrees here in Lexington. That breaks a 9-day stretch of below average temperatures (41 degrees) that stretched back into the end of 2012. The clouds have rolled back and we're seeing some light sprinkles out there this evening. A weak cold front will continue to bring a few light rain/snow showers as we move through the overnight hours tonight and on into Sunday.
