Fifteen Kentucky Players Finalist For McDonald's All-American Roster

Fifteen Kentucky high school basketball players were among the more than 800 nominees for the 2013 McDonald's All-American Games in Chicago.
Ten boys and five girls made the first cut.
BOYS
William Gary - Dunbar
Mike Smith - Dunbar
Taylor Gover - Pulaski County
Dominique Hawkins - Madison Central
Darryl Hicks - Trinity
Lavonne Holland - Ballard
Omar Prewitt - Montgomery County
Rusty Troutman - Bullitt East
Derek Willis - Bullitt East
Jack Whitman - Lexington Catholic
GIRLS
China Dow - Louisville Christian
Makayla Epps - Marion County
Kyvin Goodin-Rogers - Marion County
Rebecca Greenwell - Owensboro Catholic
Katelyn Newsome - Sheldon Clark
Officials will announce the final rosters on Feb. 14.
The games will play out April 3 at the United Center in Chicago. East will face West, with 12 players on each roster.
