A fire forced some people out of their Lexington apartment early Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out just after 2 a.m. at a four-plex on Catalpa Road. Firefighters were able to contain the fire damage to one unit and save a dog that was found inside.

Investigators are working to determine what caused that fire.
