Fire burned through a building at a car lot in Clark County Wednesday morning.
The 2-alarm blaze broke out in an office building at Rod Hatfield along Lexington Avenue in Winchester around 5 a.m. The fire gutted the office and appears to have damaged a garage as well. Witnesses say flames were towering above the building at one point.
There are no reports of injuries.
Firefighters were still putting water on the burned-out building at 6:30 a.m. and heavy smoke was still visible in the area.
No word on what might have caused the fire.
Be aware of traffic delays in the area.
Crews from the Winchester, Clark County and Lexington fire departments battled the blaze.
