Investigators are still working to find out what started a fire that caused extensive damage to a home in Rockcastle County.
Fire officials say it will most likely be a total loss for the home located on Highway 1505 off US 25.
No injuries have been reported. Officials say the family of three who live there were staying with relatives when the fire happened.
They have not discovered a cause yet, but say the fire was most likely started by a heating implement - a heater or furnace.
Brindle Ridge Volunteer and Broadhead Fire responded to the scene and had to bring in several tanker trucks. They said it was difficult to get fire under control because the nearest fire hydrant is seven miles away.
LEX 18 is on the scene and will have more details as it becomes available.
