A fire cause extensive damage to a home in Harrison County Wednesday morning.

The blaze broke out a little before 8 a.m. in a house on Sherwood Road in Cynthiana. Officials say nobody was at home when the fire broke out, and there were no reported injuries.

Firefighters say something in the kitchen may have sparked the fire.
