Lexington firefighters battled a blaze at a local paint business Monday night.

Crews were called out to Suburban Painting on Big Run Road around 10:30 p.m. Firefighters say they were able to contain the fire quickly, but the building sustained heavy smoke damage,

Fire officials say they believe an electrical problem sparked the blaze in the back of the building where paints were stored.

There were no reported injuries.
