Firefighters were on the scene Wednesday afternoon after a fire broke out in a home in Bourbon County.
The fire broke out at about 2 p.m.at the home, located on Main Street in Millersburg. Witnesses said flames were seen coming from the second story of the home before firefighters arrived.
Officials at the scene said everyone in the home was able to get out safely, but that the home is a total loss.
Firefighters say they would have lost two other structures if not for help of a county fire engine from Winchester due to nearby gas tanks.
