A fire destroyed a barn owned by a Jessamine County Girl Scout camp late Sunday night.

Firefighters were called out to the fire along Newman Road, near the Fayette County line, around 10:30 p.m. Dispatchers say Camp Shawano owned the barn. The sleep-over Girl Scouts camp hosts classes throughout the summer months.

Officials say they don't know what was stored inside the barn.

No word on the cause of the blaze.
