Firefighters in Montgomery battled a house fire early Tuesday morning.

Fire officials say the blaze apparently started on the second floor of a home along Main Street in Mt. Sterling. Firefighters contained the fire to a bedroom.

There were no reported injuries.

No word on the cause of the fire.
