Police and arson investigators were called in to investigate after a fire in Lexington early Tuesday morning.

A mattress caught fire inside a unit at the New Circle Apartments off Jennifer Road around 3 a.m.

There were no reported injuries.

Officials have not indicated a possible cause of the blaze.
