A grass fire in Laurel County threatened a cemetery Sunday.

Fire crews responded to a grass fire at the McFadden Cemetery around 6:00pm.

The fire spread quickly over 10 acres but crews were able to get the fire out quickly.

Investigators believe the fire may have been caused by a driver throwing out a cigarette.

There were no injuries and no graves were damaged.
