Firefighters in Boone County braved icy waters Sunday morning to rescue a dog from a frozen pond.

Emergency workers in Florence were called out to help a husky named Ali who had fallen through the ice near the middle of the road.

Crews couldn't get to Ali using conventional means, so firefighters wearing ice-suits went out to save her.

She was returned to her owner and is expected to be OK.
