Milder days are here as our January thaw continues to take hold. Unfortunately with the warm up also comes a number of chances for showers and even a few thunderstorms. A slow moving frontal system will keep your forecast unsettled through the end of the week and into the upcoming weekend. Wednesday will see highs in the low to mid 50s and mostly cloudy skies with a few showers around, mainly down south and early in the day. After a partly cloudy night with lows in the low to mid 40s we're back in the mid 50s Thursday with a better chance for scattered showers and isolated t-storms.
As a warm front lifts into the Ohio Valley we will surge into the low to mid 60s Friday through Sunday. The rain chances also stick with us, expect showers and a few t-storms Friday and after a break Saturday another round late in the weekend. Much colder air is still set to invade early next week.
