A fleeing suspect hit a motorcycle along US-60 in Woodford County Thursday morning.

Police say the incident started with a stabbing at a home on High Street in Versailles around 5 a.m. Officials say a man stabbed his father during a domestic dispute.

The suspect fled the scene and drove off along US-60 toward Lexington.

Witnesses say the suspect was weaving in and out of traffic before he clipped a motorcycle from behind just prior to the Bluegrass Parkway on-ramps. The car ended up in a ditch, and the motorcycle skidded up an embankment. EMS took the motorcyclist to UK Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police arrested the suspect. Authorities have not released his identity, but they say he will face multiple charges, including assault and reckless driving.
