Heavy rains and high winds moved out of the Commonwealth Wednesday, but problems remain.

Flooding is an issue in some southeastern Counties. The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Knox County and Whitley County effective until 9 a.m.

Torrential rains left streams and rivers running high across the area. Water covers parts of KY-227 in Knox County, and officials reports flooded roads in other areas. Officials say they want to remind drivers not to proceed through areas where water covers the roadway.
