As UK's football team prepares for Saturday's game with Eastern Kentucky, coach Rich Brooks says he is having to deal with players missing practice due to a flu bug.
Brooks said Tuesday that some of the players who either left practice or didn't practice will be tested for H1N1. Brooks said seven players, including Micah Johnson and Christian Johnson, are affected. He also said he's expecting more players to be affected.
On the injury front, wideout Gene McCaskill has a sprained ankle, safety Matt Lentze reinjured his toe, and fullback John Connor has a shin problem.
